Tom Shillue is a storyteller that is largely responsible for making storytelling shows hip in New York City. He’s been on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, had his own Comedy Central Presents, and has wowed audiences with his one man show “Supernormal” which just earned him an ECNY Award. On May 6th, he returns to Comix with another edition of Tell: Worlds Collide.
On this show, Tom invites performers from different genres, like improv, sketch, standup comedy, and storytelling, and has them tell the best stories they have. Instead of your usual comedy show, where performers make up fake situations and do impressions, come to a show where the performers show you a bit of themselves while cracking you up.
Past guests have included:
Reggie Watts
Michael Showalter
Ted Alexandro
Aasif Mandvi
