Southpaw presents Tobasabi Tuesdays Russian Roulette, a free weekly night of entertainment. Who knows what you?re going to find on a Tuesday night at Southpaw this summer: it could be great acoustic music, outrageous puppetry, hilarious comedians, karaoke, quiz night?anything is possible on Tobasabi Tuesdays! Bartender and host, Andy Heidel has paired up with producers and performers from NYC?s underground entertainment scene. The hauntingly playful Tom Rhodes, the King of Brooklyn Country Alex Battles, and Dock Ellis' front man Billy McCue, are all co-producing Acoustic Arcade throughout the summer, showcasing the best acoustic acts from the borough and beyond. Puppeteers extraordinaire Tim Lagasse & Jim Napolitano are co-producing the Monkey = Fun Brooklyn Puppet Slam featuring underground puppeteers and short films. The tomboy she-dude of comedy, Amber Tozer, co-produces Southpaw?s longstanding Stand and Deliver Comedy Show where you?ll experience hilarious comedians, funny music and brilliant short films. And spitfire newcomer Megan Rudesill hosts the Throbbing Brains Quiz Show.

Alex Battles, leader of the Whisky Rebellion, founder of the Brooklyn Country Music Festival, writes and sings songs both funny and bittersweet in the style of Johnny Cash & Tom T.
