To Whom It May Concern: Arclight Theater April 10, 2009

'To Whom it May Concern' addresses the effects of America's 'peace keeping mission' in Afghanistan as it focuses on the long-distance communication between a battle-scarred young marine stationed in Kabul and an emotionally out-of-control adolescent boy in Abilene, Kansas. The boy attracts the marine's attention by deciding to pretend that he is an 18-year-old female with a crush after having read an article about the soldier's heroic activities in a local paper. They begin a cyber-romance that is temporarily shattered when the marine decides to pay a visit to 'the girl' of his dreams."
