1 of 4 shows in Stanford Summer Theater's 2007 Season, "Africa Onstage." A tour-de-force one-man show written and performed by Dan Hoyle, Tings Dey Happen brings to life the rich humor, vitality, chaos, and intractable challenges facing the oil-rich but deeply impoverished Niger delta region in Nigeria. In a rave review in the San Francisco Chronicle during Hoyle's sold-outrun in San Francisco, critic Robert Hurwitt calls Tings “bracingly brave . . . a smart, engrossing, funny, challenging, and moving piece . . . memorably touching and entertaining.”

Tickets are $20 reserved online (highly recommended) or "pay what you like" at the door.

Thursday through Saturday July 5–7 at 8:00 pm, Sunday July 8 at 2:00 pm, at the Oak Lounge in Tresidder Student Union on the Stanford campus.
