Do you know what a tin can tourist was? Well, way back in 1919, the very first 'snowbirds' flocked to Florida to enjoy the sunshine & pristine beaches. These tourists brought their food in tin cans & would heat them on the engines oftheir Model T Fords---hence the name, Tin Can tourist!!! In this camp we become 'tourists in our own backyard' and explore
tourism in Florida, closely examing such wonders as Gatorama and of course, The House the Mouse Built: Walt Disney World History!! With camp educator, Tiffani West
