Meet at Congregation Ezrath Israel (Actor s Temple) 339 West 47th Street (off of Eighth Avenue)
New York, New York 10036

Stroll the "Crossroads of the World" with theatre historian Cezar Del Valle, as we explore Times Square's architecture, theatre, and colorful gritty past. Discover the lesser known landmarks as the tour leads us past "Paradise Island" in the search of the "telephone booth indians" and the site of the old Fleischer Studios (home to Betty Boop).

While discussing recent changes, the walk takes in locations associated with the Hammersteins, Shuberts, Flo Ziegfeld and a host of legendary names (including Captain Marvel and also Scrappy).

The walk will take us into two sites who's history was altered and shaped by the development of Times Square: the Actor's Chapel and the lesser known Actor's Temple ( shul to the likes of "The Three Stooges", Sophie Tucker and Shelly Winters).
