• Celebrating indigenous woodwork, women in woodworking and rare timbers sustainably harvested from West Australia and Tasmania
• Renowned woodworkers from around the world to host free seminars

WHAT’S ON:

‘The Great Saw Race’: All visitors can experience the exhilaration of an old-fashioned ‘saw race’ using a 100 year old 1.8m cross saw. Winners receive a handsaw. Stand 82, 12pm and 3pm daily.

Make Your Own Didgeridoo: Create, play and select your own national icon. Kids can learn about the history of the didgeridoo, while the adults discover how to carve one. Stand 76, 11.30am-4.00pm daily.

How sweet it is: Passionate about passing the craft down to younger generations, Tim Skilton has taught over 1000 through his ‘Come And Try Woodworking’ workshop. Visitors can attend the free workshop to carve their own honey-dipper, and be in the running to win a $2,000 prize from Carba-Tec.

Stellar line up: For the first time in Brisbane, woodworking extraordinaire Guilio Marcolongo will join some of the world’s most celebrated woodworkers to share his entertaining and skillful demonstrations.
