Tim Rogers - The Luxury of Hysteria Album Launch
Tim Rogers will release his new studio album, The Luxury of Hysteria, on September 29th 2007 on Ruby Q records thru Inertia.

The Dickensian, roguish charm of Rogers’ previous studio offerings has given way to a more considered approach on The Luxury of Hysteria, however this latest release barely conceals the recurring themes of misanthropy, open mouthed wonder, disease, deep admiration, loss and desperate joy, which make Rogers the poet he is.

The first single from The Luxury of Hysteria, “When Yer Sad” is perhaps the most atypical song on the record.

The clip for “When Yer Sad”, set in an underwater wonderland, is described by Rogers as “surely a work of small genius”. Shot in the watery depths off Port Douglas, filming was briefly interrupted when the Rogers, taking a break on shore, was hit by a dishevelled looking elderly gentleman falling from a coconut tree. The clip is set to air in September.

To promote the release of The Luxury of Hysteria, Tim and his nine piece band will launch the record at the below theatres and Rogers will bring this uncut diamond of a recording to you, yes you... the people.
