Tim Allen, a comedian, actor, voiceover artist, and entertainer, grew up in Birmingham, Michigan. He is best known for his role in the television sitcom 'Home Improvement' and his roles in films 'The Santa Clause,' 'Toy Story' and 'Galaxy Quest.' He won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Television Series, Musical or Comedy in 1995 for 'Home Improvement.' In 2004, Tim was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, for his contributions to the television industry.
