High-voltage Latin septet Tiempo Libre will bring Chan Centre audiences to their feet, Friday, March 9, 2012 at 8pm.

The three-time Grammy nominated Cuban music group earned international acclaim for their joyful performances of timba – a sophisticated, dance-inducing mix of Latin jazz and the rhythms of Cuban son.

From the Hollywood Bowl to Jazz at Lincoln Center there hasn’t been a Tiempo Libre concert yet where people haven’t gotten up to dance to the group’s infectious music.
