'Thy Brothers' Keeper' is a photography exhibition that explores the complex multi-dimensional issues related to global justice and human rights conflicts including issues of race, ethnicity, class and religion, youth at risk, sex trade, education, political and personal freedoms. Through 140 images by 25 international photographers, 'Thy Brothers' Keeper' speaks to the problems of a world increasingly divided by religion, race, economic and ethnic strife. Images from the Americas, Central Asia, the Balkans, Asia/Pacific, Europe, South East Asia, the Middle East, Russia and Africa present stories of diverse peoples who have endured, and are enduring intolerable conditions that violate the basic principles of humanity, and celebrate those that have overcome obstacles to achieve their deserved human and civil rights.
