Folks Gone Traveling for work and pleasure is the theme of the Thursday Film series in July. The movies will be shown in the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland Street, every Thursday throughout the month. They are free of charge and tickets or reservations are not required. July 12, 10:30 a.m. - Special Time I Know Where Im Going (1947)
A headstrong woman enroute to her wedding is stranded by bad weather in a remote village in the Scottish Hebrides. Adding to her problems are some disquieting encounters with the handsome local laird, which may derail her carefully laid out plans for the future. Wendy Hiller and Roger Livesey star in this charming romantic drama written and directed by Michael Powell.
