Thumbscrew is a new collective band featuring compositions by all three members, fusing jazz, rock and experimental styles. Since the band's debut at Cornelia Street Cafe, the trio has continued to develop an original book of music and a strong band sound. AThe trio includes Mary Halvorson, guitar; Michael Formanek, bass; and Tomas Fujiwara, drums.
