Throwback is Republic's new 80s/90s/indie Friday night. It's basically an indie house party - 80s/90s/indie music, retro decore, original Nintendo games and retro movies on the big screen, three free arcades, live bands every few weeks, cheap drinks, and a hanging-with-the-friends atmosphere. Dress to be retro or dress to be you. Every Friday at Republic New Orleans.

This Friday the 21st check out Throwback with a 'Ski School' twist. Remember the hilarious early 90s movie ‘Ski School’? Well, we've got fake snow, fake trees, ice sculptures, and ‘Ski School’ playing on the big screen to remind you. If you're really fun, wear something that's 80s ski-bum - maybe a crazy wind-jacket, Seth Green goggles, or a beanie.
