Often described as "a mix between Common and T.I.", Dee-1 is the new face of Hip-Hop in the South. Dee-1 has been featured on CNN and in Billboard Magazine, and most recently he was voted #2 Hip-Hop Artist in the Gambit's "Best of New Orleans 2009". In the past year, Dee-1 has performed alongside nationally touring acts such as Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Drake, Trey Songz, Akon, Mya, Coolio, Kidz in the Hall, Lil Boosie, Juvenile and more.
