Light and Life Academy, Asia's premier photography institute is hosting a Seven day exhibition of professional photography, at, Ravindra Natya Mandir, starting on 1st November, 2009.

More than 200 images created by 40 students, who have completed the one year full time Diploma course in professional photography, will be showcased at the exhibition. The exhibition is expected to be an overwhelming draw for photography enthusiasts in the city. The graduating students hail from a myriad of cultures. This eclectic mix of creative thought provides the ideal environment for any student of photography, and this is evident in their masterfully created images.

This batch emerges as the next generation of Indian photographers ready to revolutionize image-making in the country. The exhibition would be a platform for students to interact with people of photography fraternity, advertising and marketing professionals, serious buyers of photography and photography enthusiasts.

Light and Life Academy is the only institute of its kind in the country, imparting photographic education of international standards, with well equipped studios and international resident and visiting faculty. It is spread over 4 acres in the scenic city of Ooty, which has inspired photographers and film makers for decades.
