Whether it is the result of the 2008 global financial collapse or the rapidly emerging consequences of our society's single-minded focus on growth which is driving our ecological systems to the brink of either massive irreversible change or failure - we are going to have to face up to the realities of living with less. Less money, less carbon, less stuff.

Can the arts lead the way in showing how we can all be alchemists of the seemingly impossible? What mindsets and models can we develop that will show how we and others can thrive on less?
