Moonwalk this summer up to the village of Harlem to Celebrate the Music of the undisputed King of Pop! When the 2011 premiere of "Thriller: Tribute to Michael Jackson" opens on Saturday, July 23, 2011, we'll pay tribute to "The King of Pop" in a high-octane show spanning the career of the late Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. The first Jackson-dedicated live experience will run from July 23rd to August 6th, and includes two hours of hit tunes such as "Smooth Criminal," "Wanna Be Starting Something," "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and "Thriller," in a show that will pay homage to the extraordinary spectacle of Jackson’s legendary performances. Act I will feature Jackson's hits performed by ballet dancers, violinists, singers, and performance artists. Act II will feature a theatrical presentation of Jackson's music videos and live performances modernized by performers of all ages. The King of Pop may have left us, but his memory will be honored with a list of instantly recognizable songs, delivered by multi-talented performers who capture the essence of Michael onstage with synchronized dance routines, Jackson costumes and performance art, and an amazing light show--each delivered with a precision that could only be superseded by the greatest entertainer of all time.
