About the Authors:

Documentary filmmaker and journalist Alan Snitow’s films include “Thirst,” “Secrets of Silicon Valley,” and “Blacks and Jews.” He is a graduate of Cornell University and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Human rights activist and attorney Deborah Kaufman is the founder of the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. As a producer and director, her films include “Thirst,” “Secrets of Silicon Valley,” and “Blacks and Jews.”

Michael Fox has written for more than 50 regional and national publications. A member of the San Francisco Film Critics Circle, Fox also has an MBA from Loyola University, Chicago. He is curator and host of Mechanics’ Institute’s CinemaLit Film Series.
