Among paper and poster sessions, keynotes and panel discussions, there will be plenty of time and opportunity to offer what a modern construction history needs: a vivid forum for the exchange of ideas and experience among international scholars, students, as well as practicing engineers and architects.

The Congress will be hosted by the Chair of Construction History and Structural Preservation, represented by its director Prof. Werner Lorenz. Organisation of the Congress will be undertaken in collaboration with the Congress Advisory Committee, consisting of members of the Berlin-Brandenburg Construction History Group, as well as with a National Support Group, composed of representatives of several related societies and organisations. An International Scientific Committee will peer review abstracts and papers submitted.
