Third Friday Speaker Series January 16, 2009

Each month CWB finds a speaker of wit and experience to talk about his or her special knowledge. It is also an opportunity for the general public to get involved, and for CWB members to meet one another and the staff. Admission is free and refreshments are served (donations to cover costs are appreciated). All presentations are in the CWB Boathouse at 1010 Valley Street, Seattle WA 98109.

"The Evolution of Sailing"
Jon will give a slide show and lecture about the stages of the development of sailing vessels, from Og's straddling a tree trunk, to Dennis Conner at the helm of an America's Cup sloop.
