Third Annual Calgary Business Hall of Fame Gala Dinner & Induction Ceremony October 18, 2006

Established by Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta in 2004, the Calgary Business Hall of Fame honours the lifetime achievements of southern Alberta?s most distinguished individuals, past and present, who have helped shape our province through their business success, entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic contributions ? role models for all young Albertans.

Nominated by their peers, Inductees are chosen by an independent Selection Committee. Each year, three Laureates are selected for induction into the Calgary Business Hall of Fame.

The 2006 Calgary Business Hall of Fame Laureates will join a distinguished list of previous Inductees: Mr. Jim Gray, O.C., A.O.E., LL.D., Mr. Richard F. Haskayne, O.C., F.C.A., Mr. Harley Hotchkiss, O.C., A.O.E., Mr. J.R. (Bud) McCaig, C.M., LL.D., Mr. Frederick C. Mannix, O.C., LL.D. (Posthumously) and Mr. Daryl K. (Doc) Seaman, O.C., LL.D.

Proceeds from the event further Junior Achievement?s mission to inspire and educate young people to experience free enterprise, understand business and economics, and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
