Featuring interactive games and craft activities, live music, eco-friendly artists, free giveaways and more, this annual festival educates families about recycling and other environmental issues. This year's participants include Puppetry in Practice, who will present giant puppet-handling workshops; artist Stephanie Huffaker of Garbage of Eden Design, who will demonstrate how to make jewelry out of household materials; and the Due Justice Sisters, making eco-friendly Earth Day t-shirts; as well as displays by the Composting Project at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the NYC Fire Department's Fire Safety Program, and others. This free community event will be held on the outdoor plaza in front of the Walt Whitman Theatre at Brooklyn College. Recommended for all ages.Tickets: FREE
