This program welcomes educators of all disciplines and grade levels.

Tuition: $361

Participants are strongly encouraged to register and work with other educators from their school. Registration priority will be given to those signing up as a “team.”

Participants will receive 3 graduate-level credits through Ohio State’s College of Education and Human Ecology (30 hrs).

What is ThinkTank?
ThinkTank is a 12-week course for educators developed by the Wexner Center for the Arts and the Office of Outreach and Engagement in Ohio State’s College of Education and Human Ecology. As a participant, you’ll explore quality practices in integrating the arts into your curriculum and work together with other participating teachers to craft interdisciplinary classroom experiences.

Why should I apply?
ThinkTank teachers will not only receive academic credit for their participation (at an extremely reduced tuition rate), but will also be eligible for bus and substitute teacher subsidies that will allow them to visit the Wexner Center with their students to implement their curriculum. You will enrich your creative spark as an educator, learn from and be supported by your colleagues, and discover or rediscover community arts resources that are at your fingertips.

Why does the Wexner Center want teachers to sign up in groups?
Effective integrated instruction has the best chance of succeeding and enduring in each school if teachers can rely on the partnership and support of their colleagues. An ideal team would include educators representing a variety of disciplines (e.g., an arts teacher applying along with a social studies or language arts educator).

My colleagues and I want to participate. How do we apply?
Complete and send us an application form (linked below) through e-mail, the post, or fax. We’ll contact you to detail the next step!
