With more than half of residents in Dallas overweight or obese, one of the keys to a healthier weight could be rethinking what you drink each day. A new comprehensive analysis of U.S. beverage consumption called What America Drinks suggests that making healthier beverage choices could play a key role in weight management.

At the event, Registered Dietician Dora Rivas (Spanish speaking) and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Elba Garcia will unveil the key findings from the What America Drinks report and a new education campaign called Think About Your Drink. Residents of Dallas can also learn how to make better beverage choices by getting a free personalized beverage analysis.
