At “They Will Surf Again!”
Jason Mraz and Jason Lewis among Volunteers Helping People Surf beyond Disability
LOS ANGELES, CA - (July 11, 2011) – On Saturday, July 16, the 405 freeway closure will not keep 200 volunteers, including recording artist Jason Mraz and actor Jason Lewis, from helping nearly 50 quadriplegics and paraplegics experience the freedom and mobility of riding a wave at Life Rolls On Foundation’s “They Will Surf Again.” Scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Zuma Beach, this event is the sixth stop on Life Rolls On’s nine-city national adaptive surfing tour.

Presented by Lo Fric, They Will Surf Again-Los Angeles will feature a Citizens of Humanity VIP Beach Lounge, complimentary massages by Creative Chakra Spa, music by Power 106, and limited-edition giveaways from Citizens of Humanity, Lo Fric, Orogem, Shaka Laka, TONIC, and more. Additional partners for They Will Surf Again-Los Angeles include Duke’s Malibu, Function Drinks, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Noah’s Bagels, Popeye Moving & Storage, and Rollx Vans.

“Carmageddon hasn’t discouraged our surfers and volunteers from celebrating a day of possibilities,” said Jesse Billauer, Founder and Director of National Outreach for Life Rolls On Foundation (LRO). “Knowing we have the support of amazing sponsors and good friends makes the day even more special.”
