On Tuesday October 14th at 7pm, MIT room 3-133, the Boston PDA User's Group presents a discussion of general and unexpected PDA topics. The meeting is free, and open to all users of handheld and PDA technology.

Join us on Tuesday October 14th for the official Launch Party for Theta Poker -- the newest and hottest No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em for the iPhone or iPod touch which will improve your skills with the strongest artificial intelligence engine , a uniquely efficient betting mechanism, a sharp interface, and lots of configurable options.

Most launch parties includes A or B-List celebrities, ice sculptures, aspiring starlets. There will be no circus performers, famous musicians, washed up actors, or stand-up comedians or Brie at the Theta Poker launch party-- but you will be able to play Poker against the best AI engine on the market!

As always, our resident team of PDA experts has its finger on the pulse of the evolving pda-smartphone convergence. We can answer almost any question about the care and feeding of nearly any handheld platform, including iPhone, Pilot, Symbian, Danger, Nokia, Pocket PC and Newton.

The Boston PDA User's Group is an organization made up of those who choose to walk freely among us with handheld, palmtop and wireless computers. Formed in 1992, its goal is to connect with the newest and coolest mobile computer technology. BOSPDAUG meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month at MIT in Cambridge MA in MIT room 3-133 at 7pm, and welcomes users of all PDA platforms for lively discussions of handheld and PDA technologies.

Theta Poker is available for the iPhone and the iPod Touch from the App Store

Robert Jen is a longtime member of the Boston PDA users group a former Palm OS developer and a serious poker player; he's the developer of Theta Poker.

The first meeting meeting is more user oriented while the second is focused on software development for these devices.
