'These Seven Sicknesses' is a five-hour marathon of all seven of Sophocles' plays re-envisioned by playwright Sean Graney. Sophocles' seven surviving plays - 'Oedipus,' 'In Trachis,' 'Philoktetes,' 'In Colonus,' 'Ajax,' 'Elektra' and 'Antigone' - combine to create a provocative portrait of the human condition, where the intermingling of chance and fate yields disquieting results. Tribeca dining destination Macao Trading Co. will provide a complimentary Asian fusion feast during a 40 minute dinner break and Billy's Bakery will provide dessert at the 2nd intermission -- all served by the cast.
