Seattle's These Arms are Snakes, formed from the ashes of seminal art thrashers Botch and Minneapolis hardcore heroes Kill Sadie, are fast-becoming an integral part of the Pacific Northwest's dynamic musical fabric. The group plays heavy, tense, percussive rock that manages to stay edgy throughout. French Toast is comprised of James Canty (Nation of Ulysses, Cupid Car Club, Make-Up) and Fugazi's Jerry Busher. A blend of guitars, keyboards, drums, percussion, samplers, sequencers, and haunting vocals have earned the duo comparisons to Mission of Burma, Savage Republic, Captain Beefheart, Wipers, and Wire.
