Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein's play is an uncompromising portrait of a woman at a crossroads in her life. In 'Third,' college professor Laurie Jameson's ordered life as a wife, mother, daughter and educator is thrown into disarray after she accuses a popular student of plagiarism. The aftermath forces her to question the ideals she has clung to for so long.
