Theatre Workshop For Young Adults. A Text? Or a Hug? Body Speak, A Theatre Workshop for Kids In a world where technology takes us away from natural human emotion, Kyra presents 'Body Speak' a workshop aimed at helping youngsters open up to their bodies. On the cards are fun-filled theatre games, invigorating physical exercises, abstract theatre, stylized gestures, free-association movement, breath-work, meditation and even modern dance!As kids vocabulary increases with TV, movies and the internet, Body Speak seeks to balance it with an understanding of the bodys language.At the helm of affairs is the redoubtable Sujay Saple, theatre performer, director and designer, working actively in the field of theatre for over 8 years. Having collaborated with such directors as Atul Kumar, Rajat Kapoor and Ajay Krishnan, Sujay been a curator many noted theatre festivals and conferences. Perhaps at the end of this session with Sujay, the kids would prefer a hug over a text message!. About the conductor: Sujay Saple is a theatre performer, director and designer, working actively in the field of theatre for over 8 years. He has been involved in over 20 theatre projects, collaborating with directors such as Atul Kumar, Rajat Kapoor, Ajay Krishnan, Benjamin Juhel(France), Teresa Prima(Portugal), among others. Age group: 12 to 16 years.
