The Yard Vol. 4 September 21, 2010

The Yard is back this time on Wednesday, September 22nd. We normally host the party at Kin on a Sunday afternoon, unfortunately Sunday the 19th is one of those miserable working Sundays in Shanghai, so your weekend technically starts on Monday.

Shanghai is well known for its limitless selection of nightclubs and evening based events, while leaving the day quite dry of entertainment.

The Yard is a daytime BBQ party featuring some of Shanghai’s best DJ’s. The music ranges from golden age hip hop, funk, soul, reggae and disco. The bbq is probably one of the best you can get in Shanghai for a cheap price of just 30rmb and ice cold Tsingtao’s are just 20rmb.

The Yard Burger - Imported Australian beef, imported white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and ketchup/mustard dressing. Simple but delicious.

The Yard Sausage Dog - Smoked sausage, chopped tomatoes, grilled onions on a toasted sesame bun.

It’s Sunday ( this time Wednesday =P ) afternoon, come out for a drink, enjoy some tasty bbq, hang with some friendly people while a kick ass dj play’s some of your favorite tunes in a lovely yard like atmosphere. Btw, don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes so you can get your groove on.
