WHAT: An educational pairings tasting of oysters harvested locally in Virginia as well as selections from up and down the Atlantic Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A three-station oyster tasting hosted by owner Barbara Black and fishmonger Scott Weinstein will feature several preparations of oysters and bar manager Morgan Hawley will pair a specific drink tasting with each station. The cost will cover a talk with some of the oyster harvesters who will be on hand as well as a dozen oysters and drink tastings for each attendee.
