Oliver Wood of King Johnson and Chris Wood of Medeski Martin and Wood grew up in Boulder Colorado. After years of musical and geographical separation, they have reunited to create rootsy music that blends blues, folk and rock music in a guitar and bass duo. Carsie Blanton blends blues, snazzy melodies, swing, folk, gypsy wordplay and her cool, clear voice to create a unique, unforgettable sound.
