Oliver Wood of King Johnson and Chris Wood of Medeski Martin and Wood grew up in Boulder Colorado. After years of musical and geographical separation they have reunited to create rootsy music that blends blues, folk and rock music in a guitar and bass duo. G. Love and his band have been playing their brand of bluesy hip-hop since the early '90s.
