The Woes arrived on the Antifolk scene, like so many artists, through the Monday Night Antihoot at Sidewalk Cafe. A five-piece band from New York, The Woes draw inspiration from country, delta blues and rock and roll to the more modern sounds of The Dead Milkmen and Cage.
