About:

The Driftwood Theatre Group marks its return to Shakespeare with the story of an incredible, 16-year journey of redemption and forgiveness, spiced with comedy, love, and even a little magic.

The Winter's Tale tells the story of Leontes, King of Sicilia, whose unrelenting jealousy results in the death of his wife and young son. And where most of Shakespeare's tragedies might end there, The Winter's Tale re-imagines itself as a powerful romantic fable, moving through 16 years in an instant, and placing the hope of Leontes' kingdom in the hands of his long lost daughter, who, marooned as a newborn on the shores of Bohemia, was found and raised as a shepherd's daughter.
