The Central Park Conservancy presents a new, interactive exhibit on the Park's woodlands celebrating and educating the public about the creation, restoration and maintenance of Central Park's woodland landscapes. 'The Wild Garden: Discovering Central Park's Woodlands,' gives visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the woodlands' history, creation and maintenance as well as resources to encourage children to explore and discover the landscapes with their families. 'The Wild Garden' features the Park's three woodlands landscapes - the North Woods, the Ramble and the Hallett Nature Sanctuary - along with an interactive installation that introduces visitors to explore the purpose, rich history, ecology and the Conservancy's efforts to restore and maintain this unique and fragile environment.
