SAN FRANCISCO, CA. – A Merry Mid-West, winter acoustic duo tour from
two of San Francisco’s leading music makers; singer/frontman The Welcome Matt (aka Matt Langlois) and songwriter/promoter KC Turner including the release of the WELCOME MATT's newest MEMBERS of SOUND song, "Song 17" performed live by the duo for the first time.

A rockin' first time pre-Christmas jaunt of eight shows in eight days. Tour starts in Palms Springs December 17th delivering musical gifts along the way; wrapping up in Chicago, December 23rd.

Welcome Matt songs distill the best of Wilco, Waits and Westerberg; and conjure up a raw melodic weirdness that is smart, edgy, exuberant and fun. The Welcome Matt's MEMBERS OF SOUND is currently underway. Recorded with a variety of musicians and producers, the roving musical project releases a song a month for 24 months, The critically acclaimed MEMBERS OF SOUND is already in its eighteen month.

Keeping a finger on the pulse and connecting people to new local talent, KC presents shows at prominent music venues & coffee houses throughout the Bay Area, including: hosting 3 open mics, booking music for 3 restaurants, producing the well-renowned KC Turner House Concert Series, representing & booking 9 independent artists and strumming a few of his own songs from time to time.
