the Wrecking Ball presents:
\\the WB15 Summit/// Brooklyn, NY 15, August 2005 8pm

They're coming from far and wide and the topics are on the table.

PREVIEW
Article 1) Beat proliferation, and by what means?

The Representatives from Toronto, Belladonnakillz and Sincere Trade offer a variety of suggestions. The BDK viewpoint has evolved over the years. Formerly an army of one, they now bring forth a trio with alternative delivery systems incorporating live drums, guitar, laptop technology and vocalization techniques which have proven to be quite effective.

Sincere Trade prefers a simpler, more subtle approach by mobile laptop unit. Disguised in elegant melody, the big bad beats are released upon unsuspecting bystanders who're subjected to instant domination. Who'da thunk? Canadians fulfilling the role as dominator?

Berlin's delegate, Aaron Spectre, while incorporating a similar method by mobile laptop unit. Beat dispatching is achieved by more aggressive means often addressed as the "Ragga" & "Junglist" approaches. Breakbeat blitzkrieg renders spectators helpless to the temptations of the dancefloor.

Article 2) Beat Farming (Cultivation processes)

The Representatives from Los Angeles advocate varying approaches to beat development and conditioning in efforts to maximize potency.
The duo, Concrete Cookie and the Dog, suggest that the "raw", "dirty" and "hardcore" developmental practice yields beat crops that are often more persuasive in endeavors to "shake what yer mami gave thee".

Bizzart, however, prefers to utilize finer tuned methods of beat augmentation. Precise and complex gene structures produce a sonance irresistable to dance floor dwellers.

These are just a few of many topics to be analyzed, discussed and tested by means of the booty this evening. While our approaches may be many and differ in varying degrees, we meet as friends behind one unified goal: Increase the Beat, spread her far and wide! Hope to see you Monday.

Best Regards-
