The Watt-Ahh® Race Boat and REDS Offshore Racing Make Their Debut June 27, 2012

Check out the Production P-1 Class Watt-Ahh® raceboat before it takes to the water. The boat is a 36’ Spectre cat with twin 900 hp motors and #6 mercury drives and is entering the Sarasota Grand Prix Offshore Racing Festival with the REDS Offshore Racing team at the controls.

During race week, the boat will be on display at Morton’s Market (1924 South Osprey Ave., Sarasota) on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at Fleming's Steakhouse (1001 Siesta Dr., Sarasota) from 5-8 p.m. It will also be at the 10th Street Boat Pits on Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30, 2012 between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. The Main Street Parade starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 29. The Watt-Ahh® Boat will be competing in the second heat on Sunday, July 1, 2012 off Lido Beach.
