The Walkmen came together from the ashes of two other bands, The Recoys and Jonathan Fire*Eater. The Walkmen make a conscious attempt to evolve away from the raw, fiery garage sounds of their previous bands; incorporating piano and by experimenting with instrumentation and recording techniques.
Grand Champeen is a rock 'n' roll quartet from Austin, Texas. The Murdocks is a rock/power-pop/indie trio from Austin, Texas.

I love the Alice Rose!! I saw them for the first time at Nasty's a few years ago. Imagine the UK meets Texas and swirl it together in a psychedelic melting pot.
