The U.S.Department Of Justice: Examining the New Leadership and its Priorities for White Collar Enforcement February 26, 2009

On the long list of tasks facing the new Attorney General and other senior officials at the U.S. Department of Justice, the criminal enforcement of federal laws and regulations on business conduct ranks at or near the top of its priorities. The Obama Administration inherits a substantial number of pending investigations and actions in areas such as financial fraud and health care, and will also be looking to put its own imprint on white-collar crime. Speaking at our program will be former Attorney General Dick Thornburgh and a panel which features four private practitioners, including former Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick and former Assistant Attorney General Michael Bromwich.
