Traveling out from AZ for this show & a few others on the tour. Not sure why it starts so late, but glad it does. Will be able to catch DBT a few blocks away (Vic theatre) beforehand!

Me plus one. In late in the day, but open to meeting before or after.

Dulli has been notorious for late shows in Chicago. Must be his affection and the fact that he lived in Chitown for awhile. The Whigs played a midnight show there in 1996, and during the first run of the Blackberry Belle tour, he didn't take the stage until past midnight at the Double Door, in what was the infamous show filled with banter and a few crowd situations. I'm guessing we'll be seeing quite a wild show with the Singers not hitting the stage until around 1am with Klein and Afterhours performing beforehand. I'm guessing the audience will be pretty liquored up before they hear Powder Burns live for the first time. I can't wait. Plan is to get into town at a decent hour, grab a drink or two next store before heading in and trying to get a good spot center stage.

There's actually a show beforehand - I think Mogwai and a few other bands have a show before the TS.

There is a show beforehand... some 18 and over show. My friend Peter and I are going out with coworkers first, down in the Randolph/Halsted area. If we go anywhere before in the area it'll be the Gingerman. I am ready for my dose of Dulli.

Any Cincinnati Kids going by chance?

I'm heading down from MKE, will also likely be imbibing at Gingerman beforehand -- gotta head down to Wrigleyville kinda early 'cause parking will be INSANE.

Still: so excited! It's been too long since the shows at Double Door.

Parking is pretty good along the cemetary on Irving Park between Clark and Sheffield as long as there's no Flubbies game that nite. It's about a 4 block walk from there.
