The Trick 17 Stop Motion Film Competition Screening & Award Ceremony November 16, 2007

"An event to challenge you to control the chaos one frame at a time.

Trick 17 is a European phrase used to describe a solution to a problem that no one else thought of, is the least likely to work, and is therefore totally unexpected. This competition is all about compromise and surprise - the Trick 17.

From November 9-11, 30 teams will compete over 3 days to write, shoot and edit a 1 to 3-minute Stop Motion Film. But wait, there’s a catch; teams will be provided with a sealed Top Secret style category, theme and INSPIRATION Package. With categories such as Stikfas, Claymation or Paper and themes such as Music Video, Movie Trailer and Commercial, animators will be challenged to work with familiar and unfamiliar mediums."

You're invited to a special screening of the completed films at this event's Screening & Award Ceremony. Screening is open to the public, and tickets are $7 at the door.
