Between 2005-08 Stephen Alexander wrote and presented four series of papers at Treadwell's which attempted to stage a unique confrontation between modern pagan witchcraft and postmodern european philosophy, dissolving genre distinctions and deconstructing western metaphysics in the process. Now these papers - twenty-four in total - are available in two books published by the Blind Cupid Press and sold exclusively via Treadwell's in a limited edition paperback. On Monday Feb. 22nd will speak briefly about the work and his relation to the shop, in a night of nostalgia and fond memory of days gone by. Price: free but guest list. Book in advance, please. Time: From 7.00 pm

Reserve your place via Treadwell's by email ([email protected]), or by phone, 020 7240 8906. Treadwell's hosts courses and workshops taught by most experienced and gifted practitioners we know -- tutors who are not only advanced in their subjects but are also able to consider their practices thoughtfully and critically. Our aim is to make the study of esoteric disciplines available to thinking, well-read enquirers. You can get details on current events at http://treadwells-london.com/lectures_and_launches.html. We also do tarot readings (http://treadwells-london.com/tarot_at_treadwells.html), and you can subscribe to our mailing list (http://treadwells-london.com/mailing_list.html).
