The Translucents came together late in the summer of 2006 by a common love of music and similar outlooks on life. The lyrics contain messages that are emotionally meaningful, and placed in powerful melodies. The group got together after Rohit heard the sounds of drumming coming from down the street and met and invited Ryan Knapp to play with him and friend Ryan Rasmussen.
