What is the TQS?
The outcome of a year-long process of research, development and testing, the Training Quality Standard (TQS) is designed specifically to recognise the best organisations delivering training to employers. Developed closely with employers across the country, the Standard celebrates not just the most responsive training providers, but those able to demonstrate a tangible impact on their customers.

What will I get from the day?
The event will feature:
- The business benefits of applying the Standards framework to your company.
- Benefits of achieving TQS certification.
- Feedback from other companies about the impact the Standard can have.
- Hints and tips from an assessor if you are interested in applying for the Standard.
- Links to skills policy and the research gathered from employers.

Who should attend?
This event is primarily for private training companies that work with employers. Whilst any organisation interested in applying for the Standard is welcome, we would particularly encourage non-Learning and Skills Council funded providers to attend. We would also recommend that attendees are senior members of staff from within their organisation, or have some responsibility for quality improvement or business development.

Further information
The TQS has been open for applications since June 2007 and over 200 organisations have applied. Open to both LSC and non LSC funded providers, a full list of certificated providers can be found on our website.
