Thirdest World [Factory School], is a three-person anthology by Gina Apostol, Eric Gamalinda and Lara Stapleton, winners of the Philippine National Book Award, Philippine Centennial Award, and Pen Open Book Award, respectively. The work features two stories by each writer and an essay discussing the relationship of narrative and identity. All three essays see a profound relationship between postmodern structures and the disjointed history of a twice-colonized country.

from the blurb by Guggenheim winner Sabina Murray "Apostol, Gamalinda, and Stapleton are three writers who deserve an international audience."
