The First Fridays series features an eclectic mix of multicultural performing arts showcased in different spaces within the museum on the first Friday of each month. Take advantage of our extended hours on Friday evenings! We're open until 9 pm, so come stroll through the galleries, explore the Shop, or enjoy dinner and drinks in Best Café or Amuse restaurant.

The Texican Gringo Band (Best Cafe)
Add a bit of spice to a cold November night with the rich sounds of contemporary Tex-Mex: roots Tejano music with an added twist of country rock. Led by Texas native, Gilberto Reyes, on accordions, the music is based on authentic Conjunto (folk music born along the Texas-Mexican border) and is lively, exciting and bound to leave you craving a cold cerveza.
